Position Overview:
As an International Mission Engagement Consultant, you will facilitate the collaboration between various groups and initiatives, nurturing significant and enduring partnerships.

Qualifications:
Education:

  • At least one year of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
Experience:
  • Experience with international travel and cultural exchange.
  • Leadership in administrative roles.
  • Experience in church leadership is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Scope of Work:

  • Manage a portfolio of donor groups in alignment with the time commitments to Hungry For Life.
  • Establish new relationships or engage with groups interested in international compassion initiatives.
  • Collaborate with group leadership to define the focus and scope of their international engagement.
  • Work alongside the international operations team, particularly Project Managers, to present viable options for involvement.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with group leadership.
  • Prepare groups for sending short-term teams to project sites, with support from Teams and Project Services Administrators and Associate Team Leaders, including leading preparatory meetings.
  • Ensure that team and project details are communicated to the communications department.
  • Follow up with donor group leadership as they progress through a multi-year project plan, refocusing discussions as necessary.
  • Lead short-term teams or delegate responsibilities to Associate Team Leaders for team preparation and leadership.

Additional Duties:

  • Provide spiritual mentorship and guidance to mission team members and church leaders.
  • Advocate for the vision, mission, and values of Hungry For Life among mission team members and church leaders.
  • Deliver sermons and presentations at congregational services and meetings.
  • Travel domestically as needed.
  • Lead international mission teams when required.
  • Engage in general ministry activities as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Outstanding leadership abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint).

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Director of Mission Focusing and Consulting.
