We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Maple Cribbing and Slabs. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete products.
Key Responsibilities- Formwork and Concrete Placement: Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards. Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
- Surface Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish. Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
- Installation and Repair: Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures. Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Health and Safety: Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Teamwork and Training: Instruct apprentices and work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our quality goals.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
- Language: English
