Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Materials: Get materials and molds ready for production.
  • Buff and Sand: Use orbital sanders to buff and sand fiberglass parts.
  • Follow Safety Rules: Stick to safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Work as a Team: Collaborate with colleagues to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Inspect Parts: Check parts for any issues using rulers and visual checks.
  • Repair Fiberglass Composite: Perform structural repairs to all fiberglass components.
  • Use Tools: Operate and maintain tools like spray guns, drills, sanders, and polishers.
  • Stay Organized: Support Lean and 5S initiatives to keep the workplace efficient.
  • Document Non-Conformities: Document all non-conformities on a Corrective and Preventive Action Report and submit to authorized personnel.
Requirements
  • Composite Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience is preferred but not required.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experience with pneumatic, electric, and manual hand tools.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads (minimum of 50 lbs), including lifting, pushing, and pulling, and to stand for long hours.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skilled with hands-on tasks.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Strong skills in both areas.
  • Independence: Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills.
  • Eager to Learn: Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
