Job Title: Drywall Installer

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Vinellie One Realty Inc. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with dusty and hot conditions. You will be working in commercial and residential settings, installing drywall sheets and finishing surfaces to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster
  • Clean and prepare surfaces
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Cut and install metal corner beads
  • Fill joints and holes with joint compound
  • Finish corners and angles
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets
  • Mix plaster ingredients
  • Position and secure sheets to studs or joists
Requirements
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Manual dexterity
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
