About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painters and Decorators Supervisor to join our team at Exalted Construction Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of our painters and decorators, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise and coordinate the work of painters and decorators, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of painters and decorators, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that work is being carried out to the highest standards, and identify and address any quality control issues promptly.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to, and that the work environment is safe and secure for all employees and stakeholders.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to painters and decorators to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to support their career progression.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication, but proficiency in other languages is an asset.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, with occasional exposure to noise and other environmental factors.
  • Work Setting: Construction sites, with occasional travel to other locations.
  • Transportation: Willingness to travel, with a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
