The Clinical Leader will serve as the program lead for daily access and flow, promoting quality improvement activities to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patient care. This role will also participate in financial responsibility, utilizing resources efficiently, and assist with measurement and evaluation of clinical performance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily access and flow initiatives to optimize patient care
- Promote quality improvement activities to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Participate in financial planning and resource allocation to ensure efficient use of resources
- Assist in the measurement and evaluation of clinical performance to identify areas for improvement
- Identify and follow up on opportunities for continuous improvement
- Support and lead change initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes
- Provide mentorship to staff to enhance their knowledge, skills, and judgment
- Foster a culture of patient and staff safety, adhering to the hospital's Mission, Vision, Values, and Values-Based Code of Conduct
- Baccalaureate Degree in Health Sciences
- Current affiliation/membership with a governing Practice College (as applicable)
- Minimum of 5 years recent (within the last 2 years) relevant practice in pediatrics
- Leadership and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and innovation in the delivery of patient care services
- Excellent communication, team-building, and change management skills
- Advanced critical thinking skills
- Ability to access and utilize hospital resources
- Commitment to continuous education and lifelong learning
