Support - Continuing Education Instructor - International Languages

Job Summary:

The York Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified and experienced Continuing Education Instructor to teach International Languages. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering non-credit International Language programs to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in International Languages
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Monitor attendance and enrollment, and report concerns to the Continuing Education principal

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in teaching International Languages
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience working with children and adults
  • Desirable: Previous experience teaching International Languages, Principal Qualification Program Parts I and/or II, and ability to communicate in more than one language
