We are seeking a reliable and skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team at O & T Truck and Trailer Repairs Inc. As a Mobile Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our tradespersons and apprentices with various tasks, including moving tools and equipment, cleaning machines, and performing welding duties.
Work EnvironmentOur work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. You will be working outdoors in various locations, including urban and rural areas, and will be exposed to dusty, cold, and hot conditions.
Responsibilities- Assist tradespersons and apprentices with tasks such as moving tools and equipment, cleaning machines, and performing welding duties.
- Help with installation, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Operate various equipment and machinery, including welding equipment.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
