Job Title: Welder-Fitter

Join PRECISION LASER CUT as a skilled Welder-Fitter to play a crucial role in our metal fabrication team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for welding, cutting, and assembling metal components with precision and accuracy.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring attention to detail and the ability to work in confined spaces. You will be working with steel, iron, and heavy metals, and will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a variety of conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and hoisting and lifting equipment
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in confined spaces
