Position: Industrial Hygiene Project Manager - Full Time
Pario is dedicated to assisting our corporate partners in identifying the underlying causes of system failures, material breakdowns, environmental incidents, and liability assessments. Our expertise ensures that your interests are safeguarded, providing clarity on what transpired and the reasons behind it.
The ideal candidate will oversee property and business claims related to hazardous substances, indoor air quality concerns, water damage, and various chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage commercial and residential claims involving: designated substance surveys; asbestos evaluations and remediation; mold and water damage assessments; indoor air quality evaluations; and illicit substance analysis and clandestine lab clean-up.
- Prepare technical reports and conduct peer reviews for team members in the hygiene department.
- Foster communication and build relationships with clients.
- Set and maintain budgets and timelines effectively.
- Conduct risk assessments and devise solutions to complex problems.
- Coordinate and plan medium to large-scale remediation projects in collaboration with contractors and stakeholders.
- Engage in client presentations and promotional initiatives.
- Strive to develop and uphold industry-leading service standards.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector is advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in project management within relevant sectors (hygiene, restoration, technical consulting).
- Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative tools.
- Possess a university degree or college diploma in a related discipline.
- Professional certification is preferred, or a willingness to pursue certification.
- Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A collaborative team player focused on achieving results.
- Position based in Calgary, Alberta.
- Willingness to travel across Alberta as necessary.
