Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular security patrols to deter and respond to incidents.
- Exhibit outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain physical fitness to effectively perform duties that include standing and walking for extended periods.
- Carry out thorough interior and exterior surveillance of the facility.
- Document incidents and investigations with precise and detailed reports.
- Take appropriate action to remove unauthorized individuals from the premises when necessary.
- Handle various administrative tasks as required.
- Demonstrate courteous and professional interaction with all individuals.
- Possess strong communication skills to liaise effectively with healthcare staff and the public.
- Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Produce clear and concise documentation of incidents.
- Possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Educational background in Police Foundations, Criminology, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant laws such as the Trespass to Property Act and Criminal Code.
- Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination is required.
- Current Immunization Record.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is mandatory.
A minimum of a diploma in Police Foundations or equivalent education in Law Enforcement is expected.
Certification Requirements:Applicants must provide an Immunization Record, proof of COVID-19 vaccination, and valid certifications in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, along with a valid Ontario Security License.
