About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Dinesh Financial Services Inc. as a Bookkeeper.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, such as calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, posting journal entries, and preparing tax returns.
  • Bookkeeping Systems: Utilize manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to maintain and balance various accounts.
  • Financial Analysis: Prepare trial balance of books and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, MS Word, and Simply Accounting.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
Work Environment
  • Location: Urban area with public transportation available.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
