We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team at Renard International Hospitality Search Consultants. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our clients' 5-star hotel properties in Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, management, training, and direction to all departments
- Drive revenue and control costs
- Focus on exceeding guest expectations and improving established cost and quality standards
- Review, develop, and implement policies and procedures to strengthen the team and improve the customer experience
- Recruit, develop, supervise, inspire, and evaluate staff to ensure top performance
- Protect the property and its assets through preventive maintenance programs
- Foster a success-oriented and accountable environment
Mandatory Requirements:
- A true passion for working in a leading 5-star property with 3 to 5 years of similar experience managing a 5-star hotel or resort operation
- A versatile and multi-skilled professional with a proven track record of strong managerial and computer skills
- Independent and self-motivated, creative, and ambitious
- Able to work well with a team and has a proven track record of strong managerial and computer skills
- Willing to accept feedback to ensure goals are aligned with the team and hotel mission
- A service-driven individual dedicated to the guest and employment experience
- Obtained a bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management or Business
