About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CRM Software Developer to join our team at GS1 Canada. As a key member of our technology department, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our internal and external web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements from internal stakeholders to identify project needs and develop task lists and resource requirements.
  • Functional Design: Create functional design and specifications documentation, coordinate review and approval, and ensure successful rollout of projects.
  • Software Development: Design and develop solutions using the appropriate technology, create unit test cases, and verify functionality adheres to specifications.
  • Database Management: Develop scripts to upload and download data from web databases into internal systems, including Great Plains and CRM.
  • Web Application Support: Provide development support for GS1 Canada's suite of internal and external web properties, including regular maintenance and upkeep of web applications.
  • Database Design: Design and build databases to support web applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and implement code as required.
  • CRM Development: Develop, enhance, and support internal Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM).
  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot issues reported by users of internal database tool.
  • Professional Development: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of related technology advancements and enhancements.
Requirements
  • Education: Undergraduate degree or diploma in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc).
  • Technical Skills: Background in internet development using a structured SDLC and Agile, strong technical and problem-solving skills, and the desire/ aptitude for continuous learning.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience with C#.Net, ASP.Net, XML, MS Dynamics CRM, and web services.
  • Soft Skills: Strong working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Angular JSS, Core, Azure DevOps, team player with excellent organizational and communication skills, and a high level of creativity, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
