Job Title: Manufacturing Buyer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Buyer to join our team at Fed Supply. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services for our clients in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain
  • Source and procure materials and services in accordance with client requirements
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
  • Manage and track purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement-related documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and execution
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes and strategies

Requirements:

  • College diploma in supply management or related field
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years' experience in supply chain or procurement
  • Considerable experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SYSPRO or SAP
  • Ability to read technical drawings and proficiency in MS Office suite
