Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at District School Board Ontario North East.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the classroom teacher and principal to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that reflect the Full-Day Early Learning-Kindergarten Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to promote and maintain a healthy physical, emotional, and social learning environment.
  • Co-facilitate play-based activities that allow students to demonstrate learning related to the four frames of the Full-Day Early Learning-Kindergarten Program.
  • Effectively and efficiently observe and document student learning using a variety of tools and techniques to assist the educator in the assessment of the development of students.
  • Assume other duties/responsibilities specifically related to the functions of children and the effective delivery of the Early Learning Curriculum as determined by the Principal and the Superintendent of Education.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
  • Must be fluent in French.
