Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform purchasing decisions.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Event Planning: Organize buffets and banquets to meet the needs of our customers.
- Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
