Food Service Manager

At JDKL Enterprises Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Work Schedules: Establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and check assembly of trays, and supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment, restaurant.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, walking, physically demanding.
- Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player.
Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment where you will be working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. You will also be required to work in a physically demanding environment.
