Commercial Transformation Partner

As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO). Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the Transformation and Change initiatives within the Commercial Insurance sector, specifically focusing on Aviva Business Insurance and Global Corporate Services. Your leadership will foster an environment where our workforce is equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviors to achieve our strategic objectives and meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Lead Transformation Efforts:** Drive the transformation strategy for Commercial Insurance, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
2. **Metrics and Outcomes:** Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
3. **Collaboration:** Partner with Commercial Insurance leaders to prepare reports for the Business Unit Steering Committee and Change Investment Committee, ensuring accurate data representation.
4. **Accountability:** Hold teams accountable for delivering complex programs that address specific business needs, ensuring measurable benefits are realized.
5. **Strategic Communication:** Influence stakeholders at all levels, from frontline employees to senior leadership, ensuring decisions are informed by data and facts.
6. **Project Oversight:** Manage project initiation and cessation, structure programs, set milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
7. **Problem Solving:** Navigate and resolve intricate challenges related to change, transformation, technology, and operations.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of Financial Services and familiarity with industry best practices.
- Proven commercial acumen and analytical capabilities.
- Strong skills in Risk and Issue Management.
- Experience in senior-level relationship management and consulting.
- Knowledge of the General Insurance sector and market dynamics.
- Awareness of compliance factors and the ability to address issues proactively.
- Established network and history of successful collaboration across various organizational levels.
- Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Previous experience in leading high-value change and transformation projects.
- Project Management expertise in a regulatory and commercial context.
- Commitment to staying informed about insurance and digital trends.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
