Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Assistant to join our team at the University of Waterloo. The successful candidate will have a strong background in physical chemistry, physics, and condensed matter and materials physics.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the analysis of research results and preparation of journal articles, papers, reports, and chapters of books.
- Conduct literature reviews, surveys, laboratory experiments, and other research for use in academic publications.
- Lead discussion groups and seminars.
- Process files and paperwork.
- Supervise field experience for graduate students in clinical and counselling areas.
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience in research and academia.
- Strong knowledge of physical chemistry, physics, and condensed matter and materials physics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
