About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Trades Assistant to join our team at Tojiron Masonry Inc. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials Such as Concrete and Asphalt
  • Assist in Demolishing Buildings
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites
  • Tend or Feed Machines or Equipment Used in Construction
  • Direct Traffic at or Near Construction Sites
Work Environment

This role requires working outdoors in various locations, including construction sites, and may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in dangerous or dusty environments.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: Experience is an asset
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, manual dexterity, and handling heavy loads
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
