The Opportunity

XTL Transport Inc. is seeking a dynamic Class 1 Cross Border and BC Highway driver to join our outstanding Langley team.

We prioritize our customers' needs and expectations, striving to deliver exceptional service at every turn.

Responsibilities:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license required
  • At least 2 years of Class 1 long haul experience with consecutive winters of mountain driving, preferably on the Coquihalla
  • Minimum 1 year of US Cross border experience
  • Willingness to travel all US states and to Kamloops, Kelowna, and Prince George, as well as deliveries within the lower mainland
  • Ability to be on the road for 5-10+ days
  • Reefer experience required
  • Meat inspection experience is an asset
  • Clean abstract with zero moving violations and less than 5 demerits

Compensation Structure:

  • $0.65 per mile for US runs, including 1 hour loading, 1 hour border crossing, and 1 hour unloading
  • Mileage rates start at $0.7380/mile for Kamloops, $0.8089/mile for Kelowna, and $0.7105/mile for Prince George
  • Wait time outside mileage rate is paid at $27.43/hour
  • Weekly payroll
  • 2-day in-class training and paid in-cab training
  • Newer International trucks and a fleet renewed every 3-4 years
