Job Summary:
The Upper Grand District School Board is seeking a qualified Long Term Occasional French Immersion Grade 4/5 Teacher to join our team. As a Long Term Occasional teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in a French Immersion Grade 4/5 classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Provide individualized support to students who require additional assistance
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success
Requirements:
- FSL Part 1, Junior certification
- Experience working with students in a French Immersion setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
