Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our engineering team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software engineers and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technology stack and ensure that our engineering teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA, to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business and industry, and use this knowledge to inform our engineering decisions.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our technology stack and ensure that our engineering teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with our Head of Engineering to develop and implement our engineering strategy and ensure that our engineering teams are aligned with our company goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Team Lead or Technical Lead in a software engineering team.
  • Deep understanding of software development principles and practices, including Agile methodologies.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with Java, AWS Lambda, ECS, SQS, Kinesis, JEE App Server, Javascript, React, SQL, Looker, Github, Docker, AWS, Bash, Datadog, and Pager Duty.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of software engineers.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate the business value of our engineering initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Snowflake, Kafka, Figma, and Capital Markets domain experience.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS and Azure.
