Overview:
The Service department is seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Support Specialist who prioritizes exceptional customer service and satisfaction. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of support from our Maple Ridge office.
Key Duties:
- Generate accurate quotations for deficiencies, system enhancements, and service modifications while adhering to company pricing protocols.
- Process sales orders efficiently, ensuring timely entry and management.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Assess customer accounts and credit limits to ensure compliance.
- Verify that customer details align with purchase orders and provided quotes.
- Accurately enter orders within designated timeframes.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse team to ensure that parts are prepared and organized for dispatch.
- Stay informed about life safety product features, including competitor offerings, relevant legislation, and industry regulations.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and meetings that pertain to product and service marketing.
- Support Sales Representatives in lead generation and management, focusing on assigned accounts.
- Assist in expediting sales orders, projects, and customer requests.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required.
- Coordinate onsite meetings for Sales Representatives.
- Provide customers with product and technical information as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Preferred 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role; experience in the fire alarm, security, or electrical sectors is advantageous.
- Completion of post-secondary education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of professionalism when handling confidential information.
