Pharmacy Team Lead - Shipping & Receiving Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Team Lead - Shipping & Receiving to join our team at Sentrex Health Solutions Inc. As a key member of our pharmacy operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate shipping and receiving of pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and oversight to delivery drivers and pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of shipping and receiving tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage the daily shipping and receiving operations, including scheduling deliveries, tracking inventory, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing and scanning of delivery and prescription records.
  • Assist with the implementation of new processes and staff training to improve pharmacy operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; previous experience working in a pharmacy setting an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate in other languages an asset.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to self-manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to physically stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
