Job Title: English Language Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Language Instructor to join our team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. As an English Language Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality English language training to adult newcomers to Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver English language training programs that meet the needs of adult learners.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage students and promote language learning.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in English language teaching.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to English language acquisition.
  • Minimum of 6 months full-time experience in the last two years as an English language instructor.
  • Standard 1 recognition from TESL Canada or Canadian equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of software, internet programs, technology applications, and Canadian industry trends pertaining to ESL teaching.
