We are seeking a highly skilled Bodily Injury Claims Advisor II to join our team at Sécurité Nationale Compagnie d'Assurance. As a key member of our Bodily Injury Claims Department, you will be responsible for handling complex bodily injury compensation claims, investigating liability, and assessing claim values.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate claims thoroughly, gathering all necessary information to determine liability and claim value.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, witnesses, and other stakeholders to resolve claims in a fair and timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with Defence Counsel to ensure best practices are followed throughout the claims process.
- Manage indemnity and expense to ensure reasonable cost management principles and practices.
- A minimum of one year of Bodily Injury adjusting experience, or minimum two years of Accident Benefits experience, or minimum two years of litigation experience.
- Knowledge or experience with the current Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver on standard claims tasks in a timely manner and with high attention to detail.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills and strong aptitude for client service.
- An analytical skillset with proven negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment while performing tasks independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work irregular hours in order to schedule activities around availability of key contacts or events.
- Flexibility; can adapt to occasional or frequent overnight travel as well as daily travel to other locations.
