About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor and Wall Covering Specialist to join our team at KRB DESIGNS & CONSTRUCTION INC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining floor and wall coverings in residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding, as well as measure, cut, and install carpeting on floors and resilient floor coverings.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Prepare and install hardwood floors, remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, and install carpeting on walls or other surfaces.
  • Work Environment: Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
