Position Overview:
As a Necropsy Specialist within our organization, you will primarily focus on conducting post-mortem examinations of laboratory animals, adhering to ethical standards and study protocols.
Your role is crucial in ensuring the welfare of our animals and maintaining the integrity of our preclinical research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct dissections and assess animal tissues for pathologists.
- Perform euthanasia on animals prior to necropsy procedures.
Qualifications:
- Collegial Diploma in Animal Health or a related field in Biology.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or Animal Science is preferred.
- Experience in dissection is an asset.
- Proficiency in written English is required; bilingualism in French and English is advantageous.
Please be aware that upon hiring, you will be required to undergo an annual tuberculosis screening at the company's expense.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual performance-based bonus.
- Full-time position with a daytime schedule, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend rotations and overtime as needed.
