Your Role:

As an Optical Associate, you will be integral to our success by providing outstanding service to our patients. You will often be the first point of contact, so a passion for customer interaction and a commitment to delivering an exceptional experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educating clients on optimal eyewear selections tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring they receive the best value and quality
• Informing patients about advancements in corrective eyewear and assisting in frame selection that meets their aesthetic and functional needs
• Interpreting optical prescriptions provided by optometrists
• Conducting frame and facial measurements to guarantee proper fit and adjustments for returning patients
• Assisting with Contact Lens orders and fittings
• Engaging with patients through various communication channels
• Managing billing processes for patients and their medical service providers
• Coordinating appointment bookings and handling prescription printouts
• Welcoming patients as they arrive at our clinic
• Upholding high standards of customer service through effective communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail
• Previous optical experience is advantageous
• A strong dedication to customer service
• Proficiency in technology and computer usage
• Excellent communication skills to provide outstanding patient care
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
