About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at East Side Mario's Oakville. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
  • Load and unload dishes, utensils, and other items from storage areas and serving areas.
  • Participate in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Support the preparation and presentation of food items, including portioning, wrapping, and plating.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliability and a positive attitude are essential.
