About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at Ombudsman Ontario. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative software solutions to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of software applications and systems to meet business requirements
  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure and AWS services
  • Develop and maintain microservices using Java,.NET, and other technologies
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior developers and other team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of software development principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Proficiency in Java,.NET, and other programming languages
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Azure and AWS
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
