Job Summary

As a Financial Advisor at Royal Bank of Canada, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. You will provide proactive, professional advice and collaborate with RBC partners to help clients achieve their goals and navigate key life events. Your expertise will contribute to creating meaningful and memorable client experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advice
  • Collaborate with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking to ensure clients receive expert advice
  • Leverage technology to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive sales and retention
  • Proactively resolve and prevent client banking issues
  • Implement contact and relationship-building strategies to support new client acquisition in local communities
  • Educate clients on the features and benefits of RBC products and services, including digital banking options
Requirements
  • Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
  • Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (i.e. Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I)
  • 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e. smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
