About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at KHALSA PHYSIOTHERAPY CLINIC. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment programs for patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress to track their improvement and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Work setting: Office of a healthcare professional.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, repetitive tasks.
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, judgement, accuracy, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and teamwork.
