About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at SUBWAY RESTAURANT. As a Food Service Team Member, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality food products are prepared and served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including sandwiches, salads, and soups, to meet customer expectations.
  • Cash Handling and Customer Service: Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, and communicate effectively with customers and staff to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for the role.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Working Conditions

The Food Service Team Member will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail required. Public transportation is available.
