About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Domestic Cook to join our team at Limon Household. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes for our family.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Plan and prepare menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our family members, including those with food allergies or intolerances.

Food Procurement and Inventory Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure efficient use of resources.

Culinary Skills and Kitchen Management

Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Customer Service and Communication

Provide excellent customer service to our family members, and communicate effectively with them regarding menu planning, food preparation, and other related matters.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.

Work Setting and Environment

Work in a private residence, with public transportation available for travel.

Physical and Mental Demands

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks.

Personal Qualities and Skills

Flexibility, time management, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will be required to work 30 to 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary language of communication.
