In collaboration with our esteemed financial services client, the selected candidate will craft compelling and influential copy for a diverse array of digital marketing assets across various platforms.
The role demands a profound comprehension of prevailing trends within the Marketing sector, complemented by a versatile skill set that encompasses creative ideation, copywriting, research, script development, and a solid grasp of social and e-commerce platforms, alongside content project management.
The ideal candidate will be a master storyteller, working alongside fellow creatives in a dynamic and engaging environment to discover innovative and captivating methods of presenting subject matter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate original content for digital platforms including websites, digital advertisements, social media, and online video.
- Collaborate in brainstorming sessions to develop visual and textual concepts as part of a creative team.
- Effectively present and communicate ideas to clients.
- Work closely with the team to ensure all copy aligns with the agreed briefs and maintains brand consistency and accuracy.
- Help establish and uphold a brand's tone of voice throughout all written content while proactively suggesting enhancements for improved outcomes.
- Take charge of writing and ideation for creative projects that engage audiences and strengthen brand identity.
- Conduct research to gain insights into the target audience and competitive landscape.
- Demonstrate the ability to conceptualize content across multiple formats while considering its practical application.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in copywriting within an advertising agency or design firm.
- A diploma or degree in Journalism, Copywriting, or a related field.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects with strong project management skills, handling multiple briefs simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the capability to review and refine your own work, coupled with a proactive attitude and effective communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively across various media.
- Exhibit ownership and accountability.
- A collaborative team player and self-motivated individual.
- Fluency in Canadian-French is an advantage.
