Job Title: Child Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Child Caregiver to join our team at Navdeep Singh Brar. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and supervision to infants and children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for children.
  • Establish a safe and healthy environment in the home, including maintaining a clean and organized living space.
  • Supervise and engage children in activities, such as playtime, homework, and outdoor activities.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other caregivers to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a caregiving role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and move children as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as early childhood education or child and youth care.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including newcomers and refugees.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
