Job Summary:
L'Atelier Animation, a leading animation studio, is seeking an experienced Intermediate Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our pipeline and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, create, and support new workflows as well as existing ones.
- Optimize, maintain, and modernize our studio's pipeline by developing and maintaining efficient code.
- Code, deploy, test, maintain, and document APIs and infrastructure.
- Assist in troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing issues with existing pipeline/front-end tools.
- Modify and extend existing pipeline tools to support new workflows, design new systems, or optimize existing features.
- Maintain a positive team dynamic.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python are required.
- Familiarity with various DCC/logic software used in the industry (Maya, Nuke, etc).
- Knowledge of Qt/PySide is an asset.
- Knowledge of software testing (e.g. unit tests, integration tests, etc.) is an asset.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- A proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive, highly motivated, and eager to work with the latest technologies.
- Good practical knowledge of Linux, preferably.
- Knowledge of Autodesk ShotGrid and programming experience is an asset.
- Professional orientation towards the visual effects industry is an asset.
- Able and interested in acquiring new skills autonomously, highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the C++ programming language is an asset.
