The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of services, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and management of chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including routine check-ups and health screenings
- Manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes and hypertension
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
- Eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
