Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to join our team in Montreal, QC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all aircraft paintwork, including surface preparation, painting, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting, including stripping, sanding, polishing, and masking.
- Apply various types of paints, primers, and coatings used in the aerospace industry.
- Set up and maintain painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Use spray guns, brushes, and rollers to apply paint evenly and accurately.
- Inspect work for imperfections and ensure that the finished product meets strict quality standards.
Requirements
- Diploma in aeronautical or industrial painting or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in aeronautical painting or relevant experience in automotive or industrial painting.
- Knowledge of various painting methods, including spray painting and HVLP spraying.
- Ability to work efficiently with other professionals in the aviation field.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand project requirements.
