Travel Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and caring LPN to join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in Williams Lake, British Columbia.

Contract Details
  • Contract duration: 3-6 months or more
  • Location: Williams Lake, B.C.
  • Start date: ASAP
Compensation

$44.00 per hour + travel allowance + accommodation + weekly allowance

Extended benefits for candidates taking contract for 6 months or more

Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Perform assessments
  2. Plan, implement, and provide personal and nursing care to residents
  3. Administer oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
  4. Directly supervise care staff to meet resident's needs
  5. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred)
Job Type and Schedule

Casual

8 hour shift

Day shift, Evening shift, Night shift, On call, Weekends as needed
