We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Social Studies teacher to join our team at Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching Grade 10 and 11 classes, fostering a love of learning in our students, and contributing to a collaborative and inclusive school environment.

About the Position:

  • Full-time interim position available from January 27th, 2025 to June 30th, 2025, with the possibility of extension into the 2025-2026 school year.
  • Teach Grade 10 and 11 Social Studies classes, developing engaging lesson plans and assessments that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assess student progress, and improve instructional practices.
  • Contribute to the school's Catholic identity by integrating Catholic values and teachings into the Social Studies curriculum.

Requirements and Preferences:

  • Certification in Social Studies and Catholic Education is an asset.
  • Experience working with students in a Catholic school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
