Job Description

As an Environmental Project Manager at GIE, you will be responsible for conducting research, site visits, and data interpretation as part of Phase I environmental site assessments. You will also plan and coordinate environmental characterization projects, supervise site personnel and subcontractors, and evaluate intervention options for contaminated site rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct research and site visits to gather data and information for environmental site assessments.
  2. Plan and coordinate environmental characterization projects, including sampling campaigns and data analysis.
  3. Supervise site personnel and subcontractors to ensure quality of execution and adherence to project timelines.
  4. Evaluate intervention options for contaminated site rehabilitation programs, considering economic and innovative approaches.
  5. Carry out site visits to ensure quality of execution and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Plan and control budgets and schedules for environmental projects.
  7. Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and ensure project success.
  8. Write comprehensive technical reports and prepare other technical documents to support project deliverables.
  9. Develop technical service offers and financial proposals to support business development.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and project management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
