Role Overview: In this position, you will collaborate with operational teams across various sectors to enhance the safety of residential properties. The primary objective is to improve residential safety through effective interdepartmental cooperation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects related to floorplan and wayfinding signage.
- Conduct comprehensive surveys and address inquiries.
- Support Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) initiatives and maintain program trackers.
- Coordinate External Wall System (EWS1) reports and manage investigations related to building safety.
As a Surveyor: You will assist the Senior Project Manager in ensuring the safety of residential properties by engaging in various tasks within the Regulations team. This role also encompasses financial management and document oversight, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and successful project execution.
Candidate Profile: We are looking for a motivated individual who is dedicated to enhancing building safety and committed to making residential environments safer. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to learn and grow within the Building Safety team, recognizing that this role demands diligence and commitment.
Work Environment: The position will present challenges, but with effective coordination and time management skills, you will excel in this dynamic setting.
Qualifications: A Higher National Certificate (HNC), Higher National Diploma (HND), or a degree in surveying, construction, or related fields is preferred. This role is also suitable for current surveyors or property inspectors seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise in building safety.
Additionally, individuals with substantial knowledge in building and construction, repairs, or defect management, along with proven project management experience, are encouraged to apply, even if they lack formal qualifications.
