Job Summary

The Vitalité Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician to join our team at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, New Brunswick. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, with a focus on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat medical disorders in infants, children, and adolescents with considerable clinical independence.
  • Deliver services to in and outpatients, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and emergency care.
  • Act as a consultant to other physicians and healthcare professionals, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Participate in the teaching of students and residents in medicine, sharing your knowledge and expertise with the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree from a recognized medical school and a postgraduate university degree in the field of specialization (Pediatrics).
  • Be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC).
  • Be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New-Brunswick.
  • Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have physical ability to perform the assigned work.
  • Have a good work history (performance and attendance).
  • Adhere to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values.
  • Comply with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
