Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with provincial departments to ensure the smooth execution of all animal care programs and services.
- Develop and implement annual strategic and operational objectives that align with the overall mission of Accoravillage.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and performance management of team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Act as the primary representative for Accoravillage, promoting programs and policies within the community.
- Champion health, safety, and wellness initiatives, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide guidance to enhance program effectiveness.
- Engage with community stakeholders to identify needs and promote the mission of Accoravillage.
- Manage the budget for the assigned area, ensuring financial accountability and resource optimization.
- Oversee facility maintenance and support capital improvement initiatives.
- Develop and present business cases for new projects to relevant authorities.
- Coordinate fundraising activities and support organizational fundraising efforts.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in Business, Management, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in budget management, change management, and relationship building.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and public speaking abilities.
- Ability to navigate conflict and foster positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Alignment with the vision and mission of Accoravillage.
