As a Senior Manager, Virtual Advice, you will lead and oversee the Small Business Virtual Advice Team, ensuring business strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and drive a customer-focused culture throughout the team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Provide leadership oversight and coaching to Managers, Virtual Advice, ensuring they develop a team of high-performing subject matter experts that focus on advice-based client-centric conversations.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of strategies that align with the goals and objectives of Small Business Distribution and the regions supported by the Small Business Virtual Advice Team.
- Create awareness of the virtual channel by working in close collaboration with key partners, such as Branch, Small Business Development Managers, Wealth Management, Commercial, and CMCC.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Build a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviors.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in business, finance, or economics, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communications, judgment, negotiation, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrate change leadership, cross-cultural leadership, and a strong focus on the customer and results.
- Clearly demonstrate both creative and strategic thinking by continuously and independently identifying and acting upon opportunities to improve the environment.
- Effective sales management skills and the ability to influence and motivate others.
