Job Title: Glass Installation Foreman/Woman

Canglow Windows and Doors Inc is seeking a skilled Glass Installation Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of glass products, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the installation of glass products, including preparation of production reports and scheduling activities.
  • Train and oversee apprenticeship training, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Recruit and hire workers, conduct related staffing actions, and ensure that all team members are properly trained and equipped.
  • Estimate costs and materials, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and read blueprints and drawings.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, and other necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Excellent oral communication, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Work Environment:
  • On-the-road job with a permanent employment duration.
  • 40 hours per week, with a focus on construction, inspection, and installation.
  • Work site environment: outdoors, at heights, and in various settings, including construction, inspection, and installation.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
